C6711 Simulator: RTDX target applucation does not match emulation protocol!

Just a brief note for the very next future. 😉

Developing a project on C6711 is very good, but you can’t always have a C6711 board to run test on.
CCS is provided with a simulator: C6711 Device Cycle Accurate Simulator (TMS320C6711).
Moving to simulator, when you load program *.out, you may get this message:

RTDX target applucation does not match emulation protocol!
Loaded program was created with an rtdx library which does not match the target device.

Solution is very simple, you may read here: RTDX problems… ,
but here is my version:
-open your xyz.pjt project
-identify inout.cdb file, under DSP/BIOS Config folder
-double click on it
-identify RTDX item in Input/Output folder
-right click on it, then Properties (last menu’)
-change RTX MODE to Simulator
-then OK and build again your project

XedotNet meeting – PATTERN TRACK – MVVM

Last Xedotnet meeting was very very very exciting.

First, Davide Senatore with “Model-View-ViewModel Applied: real world WPF application” introduced to M-V-VM, pros and cons, demoing with a model developed during his previous XedotNet meeting “NetTiers & Code Generation: Rapid Application Prototyping“.
Then, Mauro Servienti with “Model-View-ViewModel e la UI Composition: WPF Power” filled us with very high tech solution, tips&tricks … tons of high quality info. 😉

If you needed a high quality WPF MVVM course, then you better not missed that meeting.

Invididual building vs Team building

Lately I went throught Luka’s blog, and read some very interesting post about team vs individual, and realized (once more!) that building a team is harder than building an individual, but only a team can give the right boost in tough conditions. 😉

Those who choose individual vs team, are going to miss that boost. 😦

A dual monitor laptop

Since 2005, I’m used to dual monitor stations.
Once I tryed, I never worked without dual monitor, or extra wide screen. 😉
But, when I’m on travel, I miss the 2nd display a lot, really! 😦
Now GSCREEN has The Solution 🙂
