REMIX 2007

May 28, 2007

Tomorrow I’ll be at REMIX 2007 in Milan.

REMIX official blog: http://remixitalia.spaces.live.com/ (italian lang).

It’s a chance I won’t miss. After XedotNet meeting on WPF (thanks to Andrea Boschin) and lots of news on SilverLight (WPF/E) it’s time to get them from the source: MS Corporate

But in the meanwhile, waiting for XedotNet meeting on Ajax (thanks to Davide Vernole and Andrea Dottor), Ajax won’t miss at REMIX 2007 .  🙂

So … lets go!

PHP vs .Net

May 26, 2007

I was a PHP developer for 5 years (2000-2005), and since 2005 I’m a .Net developer (am I lucky ? 😀 ) .

I would have write some posts on PHP and .Net (ASP.Net) but someone has preceded me, as usual . 😀

Well … “someone” … actually lots of people (search on google), Microsoft included.

Microsoft has just announced some webcasts (italian lang sorry 😦 ) on this argument:

Confronto tra PHP e ASP.NET 2.0 (Livello 200) (Comparing PHP and ASP.NET 2.0)
Friday, June 29, 2007 2:30 PM Rome, Stockholm

PHP e FastCGI (Livello 200) (PHP and FastCGI)
June 15, 2007 11:00 AM Rome, Stockholm

I don’t miss to give my 2 cents 😉

Disclaimer: I don’t hate Mac, nor pets.

TFS Timesheet: TFS’s link to MS Project ?

May 22, 2007

I read of a new project on CodePlex: TFS Timesheet .

I thought that it would be great if I could create a timesheet extension for TeamPlain that integrated with work items in TFS and was driven off of values that the user entered in the “completed work” fields.

It’s integrated with TeamPlain, so 50% work is already done. 😉

I’m going to test it very soon. 🙂
